Welcome to Rotary

The Rotary Club of Makati North (RCMN) was chartered to more effectively serve the communities in the northern part of Makati City.

In early 1973, a group of dedicated Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Makati (RCM) wanted to spread the ideals & services of Rotary in the burgeoning town of Makati.

Then RC Makati Pres. Paing Hechanova together with several officers of their club, laid down the groundwork for the organization of another club in Makati. An exploratory meeting was held Feb. 27, 1973 at the Sulo Restaurant. Shortly thereafter, a second meeting was scheduled on March 4, 1973 at the Elks Club. This time response was excellent as close to 30 prospective members attended.

Since RCM meets on Tuesday and Makati West on Thursday, we chose Wednesday lunch time at the Aberdeen Court Ballroom.
